Dear Friends of Our Military,
Words of Comfort, Hope & Promise is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) serving those in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Our organization partners with the American public to provide a wide range of military outreach support, and regularly sends care packages to our deployed troops fighting the war on terrorism. Our focus is to bond with the entire military family, develop friendships and offer moral support. We accomplish this by offering comfort, social events and assistance to families left behind during deployment. We’ve been supporting our troops continuously since 2004 and have earned numerous awards.

In 2007, President George W. Bush awarded Words of Comfort, Hope & Promise with the President’s Volunteer Service Award. In 2008, we were presented at the Pentagon with the United States Armed Forces’ Spirit of [Bob] Hope Award for our contribution to the welfare of military families. And, in 2010 Cynthia and her team were honored with the California Governor’s and First Lady’s Service Award.

Military families are required to routinely uproot to military bases, often with no friends or family nearby. We reach out to the spouses with a luncheon just after deployment to allow them to meet, bond and form a support network with each other. We use the power of the Internet and Social Media to connect families that have a need with a supporting volunteer and sponsor ready to assist in helping fulfill that need.

When our military spouses just need to talk, we provide Words of Comfort, Hope & Promise and support services through our ever-growing network of volunteers, to help overcome challenges. On average our volunteers only donate several hours per month!

Our goal is to let our troops know they are appreciated and that WE will help their families overcome any challenges that may arise.
|
We provide our military families with access to volunteers able to help them through any challenge. Whether support is needed to repair a broken appliance, fix a car, provide baby furniture, clothing or household goods, Words of Comfort, Hope & Promise will continue to support our troops and their families left behind.

Operation Christmas Stocking
