· During Christmas the outreach gives toys, stuffed animals and stockings to the children and gifts for the troops and their families. They also gave toys, stuffed animals and stockings for the children’s Christmas parties at Camp Pendleton and Balboa VA hospitals.

· They send the troops care packages of homemade cookies, socks, healthy snacks, toiletries, thank you cards and letters, along with pictures of the organization holding up banners to demonstrate their support.

· The outreach has partnered with the military key wives and planned different events such as fiesta parties, beach parties, deployment family days, halfway dinners, and military wives pamper parties.

· For the homecomings, the outreach baked cookies and helps decorate the barracks. They put together toiletry and goodie bags for the Marines that return home from Iraq.

· The outreach plans different themes for the troops’ homecoming parties. Cynthia and her team plan Hawaiian Luaus, and surf theme beach parties and barbeques. The Surfaris band, who played that famous song “Wipe Out,” entertained the troops and clowns came to entertain the children. Gifts were given to the troops and their families.

· Cynthia and her team sent care packages to Landstuhl Germany Medical Center for the wounded Marines and Soldiers. The outreach supports other non profit organizations that support the wounded, and Vietnam Wheelchair Veterans.

· The organization also helps families that face crisis. The outreach helped a Marine’s family who lost their home in a fire. They purchased household appliances, new queen size mattress, comforter sets, pillows, food and gift certificates to purchase new clothing.

· The outreach gave a new bed and comforter set for a wounded solider that returned home from Iraq.

|
· During the holidays, the outreach adopts families that are facing an economical crisis and supports them financially and provides food and gifts for family members.
