Operation Christmas Care Packages
The American Eagle Alliance collected items in San Bernardino on Saturday for holiday care packages for military personnel serving overseas.
People were encouraged to donate items such as candy canes, instant coffee packets, tea bags, powdered drink mixes, packaged cookies, packaged crackers with peanut butter or cheese, granola bars, canned fruit and nuts, chewing gum, noodle soups, beef jerky, baby wipes, foot powder and heavy cotton socks.
These items along with AT&T calling cards, playing cards, letters and Christmas cards will also be included in the care packages.
Tax-deductible donations can be sent by using a credit care on the website WOCHP Donations. Checks can be made payable to “Words of Comfort, Hope, and Promise” and sent to Words of Comfort, Hope and Promise, 63 Via Pico Plaza #418, San Clemente, CA 92672.
Operation Christmas Care Packages is an annual program hosted by WOCHP, in collaboration with other organizations. With the support of volunteers and contributors, we are able to come together to create care packages for military personnel overseas who are unable to spend Christmas with their families. Please donate to Operation Christmas Care Packages to keep this great program going each year, and to touch the lives of our brave men and women overseas.
